• Finishing your application should only take 30 minutes if you gather your information and documents before you get started!

• Uploading documents is as easy as taking a picture - no photocopier or scanner required!

To apply for childcare programs you must provide information about your family. For example:

• Names

• Address

• Birthdates

• Social Security Numbers

• Where family members work, their rate of pay and the hours they work

• If applicable, current childcare provider information

Depending on your family you may need to provide some extra information like:

• Military status of family members

• Additional income info (SSI, SNAP, Child Support etc)

To apply you have to include documents to support your information. Below are examples of documents you might upload and what they prove:

• Proof of Child’s Age - Birth Certificate

• Proof of Earned Income - Paystubs

• Proof of Unearned Income - SSI award letter, child support letter

• Proof of NJ Residency - Lease agreement or mortgage statement

• Proof of Identification - Driver’s license or State ID, Employer photo ID, Passport

• Proof of Child’s Citizenship - Birth Certificate, Certificate of Citizenship, Green Card
